Pinot Gris 2025

$22.00

Bordertown’s most popular white. Honeyed tropical fruit — peach, citrus, white flowers, light pineapple — on a crisp, clean dry backbone. Sourced from estate vineyards in both Osoyoos and West Kelowna. 92 points, John Schreiner. BC VQA certified. Goes with almost anything: Asian cuisine, BC seafood, summer salads, or just a well-earned glass on the patio.

Description

Pinot Gris is BC’s most planted and most beloved white grape — and the South Okanagan’s desert heat, long sunny days and cool nights create conditions that bring it to extraordinary life. Bordertown’s Pinot Gris has become our most popular white wine for good reason: it delivers everything this variety does best, with the unmistakable richness that only estate-grown Osoyoos fruit can provide.

This is a wine of real versatility and genuine crowd appeal. Honeyed tropical fruit flavours lead the way — banana, blood orange, ripe nectarine and stone fruit — sitting atop a crisp, clean, dry backbone that keeps every sip refreshing. The fruit comes from two sources: our Osoyoos estate contributes the lush, sun-ripened tropical character, while our West Kelowna vineyard adds zestiness and freshening acidity. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve every note of freshness, it delivers peach, citrus, white flowers and light pineapple alongside that crisp, tropical balance. John Schreiner awarded it 92 points.

One of BC’s most food-friendly whites.

Pinot Gris is the rare wine that works as well at the dinner table as it does on the patio. It’s the go-to match for Asian cuisine of all kinds — sushi and sashimi, dim sum, coconut curry, Thai noodles — as well as BC seafood, soft cheeses and summer salads. If you want a white wine that handles everything from a Tuesday night dinner to a formal gathering without a single compromise, this is it.

All Bordertown wines are 100% estate-grown and BC VQA certified — a guarantee that every grape was grown in our own Okanagan vineyards and that the wine meets BC’s strict quality standards. Crafted by Consulting Winemaker Daniel Bontorin, whose deep familiarity with this land and these vines is reflected in every bottle.

  1. John Schreiner

The wine begins with aromas of nectarine and peach. The palate delivers stone fruit flavours, along with ripe pear and blood orange. The texture is generous and the finish is crisp. The flavours, with a refreshing hint of citrus, linger on the palate. 90. – John Schreiner
