We had such a great time hosting Mary Ann and her friends and family- the winner of the EZ Rock radio contest, Win the Ultimate Wine Experience at Bordertown.
First off, the group was picked up by a fun tour bus in a Penticton. They arrived promptly to the winery to be led on a vineyard tour to see how we grow our 14 varietals.
The weather could not have been more perfect!
Next, we visited the Bordertown wine production area where the group saw the tanks and heard about our plans to more than double production.
The group then departed for our sunny patio where they were wowed with a wine tasting by our new Tasting Room Manager, Sheila Talling. Sheila has an intimate knowledge of the Bordertown wine portfolio having been with us in a sales capacity since our beginning. With her friendly and enthusiastic demeanour, and her wine and hospitality knowledge Sheila is really going to make huge waves in creating the ultimate guest experience.
The weather, wine tasting and wine experience really was the ultimate, and we enjoyed it as much as our lucky winner and her guests! We sent everyone home with a bottle of wine that they enjoyed during the tasting.
We can’t wait to do such a fun event again! And we are over the moon to hear how delighted our guests were!
