Bordertown is very thankful that fire activity has calmed down somewhat at the Nk'Mip Creek wildfire. BC Wildfire Service said the blaze, still out of control and measuring over 6,800 hectares, was "moderate" on Monday, "with mostly surface fire and some trees torching.
