Description

The South Okanagan is producing some of Canada’s most exciting Cabernet Sauvignon — and Bordertown’s estate bottling is a compelling reason why. Our Osoyoos vineyards sit at the southern tip of the Okanagan Valley in Canada’s warmest wine region, where the hot desert days and dramatically cool nights create the precise conditions Cabernet Sauvignon needs to achieve genuine quality: concentrated flavour, natural structure and real aging potential.

This is a wine that bursts with black fruit intensity. Blackcurrant and dark berry lead the nose with confidence, accompanied by pleasant hints of bell pepper and mint — the classic Cab Sauv signatures in their South Okanagan expression. On the palate, the wine is big and intense, with a firm but inviting tannin structure that frames the fruit and provides the backbone for extended cellaring. Rated 92 points by John Schreiner, with a Silver Medal at the Pacific Rim Wine Competition 2024 and a Silver Medal at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition 2024.

A genuinely age-worthy BC Cabernet Sauvignon from Canada’s hottest wine country.

The style here is Bordeaux-inspired but unmistakably Okanagan: ripe, generous fruit with the natural structure and acidity to develop in the cellar for 5–10 years. Drink it now with grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, lamb, or roasted root vegetables — or lay it down and let it develop the tertiary complexity that great Cab Sauv is known for.

100% estate-grown on our Osoyoos vineyard. BC VQA certified. Decant 30–45 minutes before serving.
