This is a Chardonnay for those who truly appreciate how this wine can show off such a ripe, rich, honeyed character, with full body and textural layers, while at the same time putting forth tropical fruits like pineapple, melon and peach. Aged in French oak, it wraps these qualities within a slightly buttery mouthfeel that is not overwhelming. This estate Chardonnay underwent full malolactic fermentation and five months in French oak to arrive at a wine showing deep golden colour and the richness of a Santa Barbara Chardonnay. The wine has excellent fruit notes, white peach, pineapple and melon and a buttery richness that is not overpowered by the oak.
